How did you get interest in creating art?

I guess I always wanted to make arts when I was younger. I enjoy drawing and creating art, especially enjoys drawing the more abstract and cartoon-like arts, and more often did so for myself rather than trying to make things to try to please others. Though I do always welcome when someone comes to me with an idea for a art piece. if its original, unique, or just a really fun and great idea I'm more than willing to do said idea.
